Coffs Womens Circle - Matrescence

Our theme for this circle is: Matrescence

Becoming a mother is transformative in every way, yet is often undervalued and not well understood. The transition from maiden to mother is a rite of passage that is not often spoken about, not in any depth anyway.

What happens to us as we transition from woman to mother? What happens to our old identity? Do we ever get it back or is it gone forever? How can we be a present mother for our children but not lose ourselves in the process?

Mothers in all stages of their motherhood journey are welcomed.

We will join in circle to ground ourselves, meditate, journal, share and connect. 

Please bring: 

🖊 a notepad and pen

🪑 a cushion to sit on 

💧 a water bottle

🌸 a flower or other small personal totem to add to the alter (this will be returned to you at the end)

❤️ an open heart
